Today’s motto: ASK QUESTIONS!

Really that is always the motto here at Step By Step. That is the only way you are going to learn. I read a good quote on a forum recently, “The only stupid question is the unasked question.”

Since this blog and the web site “reference library” are just babies, I am depending on you to help me post information that is needed right now. I will be hard at work assembling information for you on subjects that are common to many beginners. But it would be helpful if you would list questions that are at the top of your list right now.

If you are on a forum, go ahead and ask there too. I certainly do not want you to stop doing that. I will try to provide information in a little more depth and (perhaps) in a language that is easier for you to understand.

From time to time I will publish information and it will be located on a page in this blog instead of here in the regular posting column. You will see in the left column a category called Pages. There will be a page called “What’s Going On?” Always check there to be sure you have read information that might be of help to you.

Don’t be content to sit in your comfortable chair and avoid risks. Unless you move out of your comfort zone, you are going to be stuck in that “comfortable” zone. This is not the way to achieve success.

As a relative beginner myself, I make mistakes every day. People will say, “I don’t want to offend you, but . . .” Since I want to produce the best products available, I would certainly be silly to be offended by someone pointing out a mistake. If they are doing it to just be critical, that’s their problem.

If you try things, you will progress faster. Go ahead! Don’t be afraid to try and above all don’t be afraid to fail. That is part of the learning process. I read some where recently that ‘failure’ is not really ‘failure’. It is a stepping stone to success.

Grab on to the tail of that tiger. Let’s put you in action as we move Step By Step to success in internet marketing.

Today is the day to start. Don’t put it off.

Questions Are Meant To Be Answered

If  you are brand new and feeling overwhelmed, you need to take a deep breath and begin everything one step at a time. The questions listed below are what I would ask you if you came to me (as others have done) and asked me for help. I would want the answers to these questions so I would know where you are and where we need to go from here.

1.  Do you have a website with eBooks such as a PlanetSMS website?

2.  Do you have a domain name and a hosting company? What is your hosting company?

3.  Do you have a PayPal Account?

4.  If you bought a website, have you got it installed?

5. Do have a direction you want to go as far as topic for sale of ebooks — IM, hobbies, cooking, travel, etc.

You need to start a list of things you like, things that you know something about, hobbies, work, etc. You will need this later. Start now to accumulate the list. Carry a sticky pad and a pen. Don’t rely on your memory. You will forget.
