Dreaming Can Be Important

As beginners you have the desire. You don't mind working hard to make your business grow. But as time goes on, there are bound to be times that your desire seems to waver a bit. You find it hard to focus. That is only natural. You are not alone.

One of the most important things you can do is to have a dream. No, I'm not saying let the dream overwhelm you. However, when the going gets rough, it helps to have something that you can spend a few minutes thinking about -- that special goal – that special something that makes you smile, grin, or shout.

I have a special dream. It involves helping people because that is what gives me the most pleasure in life. I have pictured this special place for senior women in my mind for many years. I have it planned in my mind and I also have it planned in stages that are attainable. I like to dream in parts that I consider doable but I always have that one major dream going around in my head.

But that's my dream.  I am not going to say "Do you have a dream?" because I am sure you do.

Sit down right now and focus on the one thing you'd love to do with your life if only you had the time and the money. Be specific about that dream. Think in concrete terms.

When you find online marketing beginning to feel impossible, go to the dream and refuel. Dreams can help you refocus on your tasks because you realize there is a purpose for all this hard work.

Do Not Spend Your Money

DON’T spend your money until you are sure it is a product that you need right now. DON’T spend your money on “systems”. There are NO get rich instantly plans.

Only buy (or for that matter download free) books that are relevant to your immediate needs. If it is a how to book that will teach you how to do something that you need to be doing right now, download away. For example, if you are getting ready to start a blog, look for products that will help you with a blog. Don’t buy things and say to yourself, “Oh, I know I am going to need this later.”

Spending too much money (that you probably can’t spare) at the beginning stages of IM has been the downfall of more beginners that I would care to count.

Why Do I Want To White List Someone?

I’m sure you have seen the term “white list” when applied to an email list. When you sign up for a mailing list with someone, they encourage you to white list their address.

The simple reason they want you to do this is so that their email to you won’t get caught by a spam filter. “White list” merely means that you need to add their URL to your address book.

By adding this address to your address book, you are effectively telling your ISP that it is ok for that message to come through. It removes the possibility of that mail being “tossed out”.by a spam filter.

Spam has become a real problem and the ISPs and the e-mail services are struggling to prevent it. In the effort to remove the senders of these unwanted emails, they developed a “black list”. This is a list that contains URLs of scammers or at least who is believed to be a scammer. This “black list” is the reason for the use of the term “white list”.

While ISPs and e-mail services are continuing this fight, they sometimes go overboard and do not let legitimate mail into your mailbox. Again, this is why you should always “white list” mail that you want to be delivered.
